PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Rynkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Farzad Omad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rynkowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama Selita - 303. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sebastian Rynkowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Farzad Omad!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omad ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A head kick by Omad misses

and Rynkowski counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Omad!

Rynkowski is trying to get an arm triangle but Omad is defending well.
Omad misses with an elbow from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Omad tries to buck Rynkowski off but Rynkowski is having none of it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rynkowski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
