Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leif Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo has chosen Kung Fu Fighting - The Vamps as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leif Romero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Aldo! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Aldo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Aldo throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Romero manages to pass to side control. Aldo is looking for a sweep. Romero is trying to get an arm triangle but Aldo is defending well. Romero takes a little break here. Aldo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aldo can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aldo is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Romero is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Aldo is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Romero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Aldo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Romero controlling the position easily from mount. Romero cracks Aldo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Romero controlling from the full mount. Romero raining down hammerfists from mount. Aldo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Aldo is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aldo throwing hammer fists to the chest of Romero. What's that going to do exactly? Romero punishing his opponent with strikes. Romero takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Romero looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Romero controlling the pace for now. Aldo is trying to stand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Romero blocks Aldo's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Romero takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Aldo is trying desperately to improve position. Aldo throwing hammer fists to the chest of Romero. What's that going to do exactly? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leif Romero dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Aldo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Romero shoots in for a double leg but Aldo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A punch combination from Aldo misses. Romero changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Romero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aldo swivels and escapes. Aldo lands a head kick!
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aldo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Romero doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aldo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Aldo connects with a combination that backs up Romero into the cage. Aldo lands a flurry of punches that gets past Romero's guard. Romero is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Aldo bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Aldo! A relieved looking Jose Aldo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
