The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King has taken the fight to the clinch.

It looks like Dom Diego has been cut.
Diego tries for a takedown. No joy.
King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Diego.
King gets through Diego's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
King misses with a punch on the inside.
King manages to break the clinch.
Diego throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diego fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A quick step to the side and King tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
William King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Diego.

King is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Diego.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King closes the distance but Diego moves to the side
letting Diego counter with a right hand.

Diego dives in for a single leg takedown but King sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
King rushes Diego and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Diego has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. King avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Diego drops down looking for an ankle pick but King pulls his leg out and moves away.
King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diego shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as King sprawls well. King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diego gets slowly back to his feet.
Diego just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromKing.

King wants to clinch up but Diego keeps it at a distance.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
King clinches with his opponent.
Diego changes levels and goes for a takedown here. King fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Diego counters with a two punch combo.

Diego wants to break the clinch but can't.
King pushes off an throws an elbow but Diego leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
King gets through Diego's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Diego is trying to work for a single leg takedown but King pulls him back up using the underhooks.
King drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Diego gets the underhooks and prevents it.

King misses with the head strike.
Diego is trying to drag King to the mat but King just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
King scores with an uppercut up the middle.
King lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
That has opened up Dom Diego's cut even more.
Diego breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
King takes a swing at Diego's ribcage but misses.
Diego lands a right hook to the body.
Diego jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Diego swinging wildly here.

King has taken the fight to the clinch.
King lands a right hand that snaps the head of Diego backwards.
Diego breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Diego swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Diego has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Diego shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Diego digs a good hook to King's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King looks to land a combination. Diego sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Diego swats away the attempt to clinch by King.
Diego swings away with a body shot that misses
and King counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Diego badly! He tries to strike back but King puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Diego out cold! Oh man, Diego will never hear the end of this one!
