Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stirling Mortlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rayder Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garner with a poor takedown
and Mortlock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mortlock catches Garner with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Garner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Mortlock counter with a right hand.

Garner drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mortlock will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Garner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Stirling Mortlock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rayder Garner.

Mortlock has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

In his post fight interview, Rayder Garner started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
