The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
General Zod drives through and clinches with Bernard against the cage.
Bernard looking for a takedown.
General Zod's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bernard tries to get to full guard but General Zod has control of the leg.

General Zod is pushing down on Bernard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bernard is fighting to maintain full guard but General Zod has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bernard is trying to defend against the ground and pound but General Zod scores with a couple of nice shots.
General Zod is thwarting Bernard's attempts to control the position.

Bernard really is a fat lump.
Bernard looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but General Zod is defending well. Bernard quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! General Zod has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bernard celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
