Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettis has chosen Dami Mong Alam - Skusta Clee ft. Flip D as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis slips under a jab from Silva.
Silva throws a head kick but Pettis moves out of range.
Silva misses with a low kick.
Pettis lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Pettis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Silva.
Pettis checks a leg kick nicely.
Pettis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva misses with an uppercut.
Silva swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Silva tries to bum rush Pettis with a series of wild strikes but Pettis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva throws a jab when Pettis was well out of range.
Pettis looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Pettis scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pettis is looking for the big counter here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pettis throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
Pettis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pettis throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Silva's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Pettis dives in looking to finish as Silva flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Pettis's strikes! Pettis is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Silva's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Silva was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

In his post fight interview, Anthony Pettis gave a big smile as he said 'Guess Who's Back Bitches!!'.
In defeat, Anderson Silva stepped up to the mic, saying 'I Cant Take His Punches..its too strong.
He is The Best..He will be the next World Champion.'.
