The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drussel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Melton blocks a head kick by Drussel.
Melton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Some bone on bone action there as Melton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Drussel slips a jab and a cross from Melton.

Drussel lands an elbow that stopped Melton in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Monroe Melton has been cut.
Drussel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Drussel lunges at Melton with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Melton's hand.
Melton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drussel swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Drussel clinches with his opponent.
Drussel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ztig Drussel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Drussel, right into the meat.
Nice takedown defense from Drussel. No joy for Melton on that attempt.
Drussel throws a head kick that misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Melton looks to score with a jab to the body but Drussel is just out of range.

Drussel lands with a kick to the temple. Melton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Drussel darts in and clinches Melton up against the cage.
Drussel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Melton tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Melton struggles to land a body shot inside as Drussel controls his hands.

Melton scores a nice knee to the body.
Drussel blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Drussel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Drussel motions for Melton to come forward. Drussel throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Drussel drops Melton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Melton looks back up at him and smiles so Drussel waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Melton is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Melton ducks into an uppercut from Drussel and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
