Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Reggie Little!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bannon McMurphy!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMurphy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McMurphy feints a jab promting Little to slip. McMurphy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Little slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Reggie Little has been cut.

Little changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McMurphy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McMurphy can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Little stands up and beckons McMurphy to his feet.

Little fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McMurphy sprawls well initially but Little persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

McMurphy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Bannon McMurphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McMurphy swinging wildly here.
Little throws a big counter combination but McMurphy scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
McMurphy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
McMurphy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Little backs up against the cage.
McMurphy throws a right and a left that Little avoids nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Little closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McMurphy to the mat! McMurphy manages to get full guard.
McMurphy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Little is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McMurphy is just riding it out for now. Little eventually gives up the hold.
McMurphy wants to improve his position but Little is controlling well.
McMurphy is trying to control but can't.
Little wants to lay and pray for a moment but McMurphy keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

McMurphy manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Little keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
McMurphy tries to stall but Little uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Little turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Little manages to end up in side control.
McMurphy wants to control but Little postures up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Little looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
McMurphy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Little seems to be looking for submissions.
Little is breathing heavily.
McMurphy trying to control from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McMurphy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McMurphy.
McMurphy is trying to keep Little in close.
Little controls from within his opponent's guard.

McMurphy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Little frees his head nicely. Oh but McMurphy has switched to an armbar! Little is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
