Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Helgi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Hoffman!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Helgi.
Helgi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Helgi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Helgi swings for the body but Hoffman moves out of range.
Helgi throws a good cross that connects.
Hoffman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Helgi. That one must have hurt.
Hoffman chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Helgi misses with a looping left.
Hoffman throws a body punch but Helgi moves out of range.
Hoffman thuds his right hand into Helgi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Bjorn Helgi has been cut.
Hoffman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Helgi takes a swing at Hoffman's ribcage but misses.
Helgi throws a nice head kick!
Helgi throws a leg kick
and Hoffman counters with a one-two to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Helgi on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Helgi throws a sloppy head kick and Hoffman moves out of range easily.
Hoffman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Helgi manages to avoid it.
Hoffman thuds a left hand into Helgi's body.
Hoffman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hoffman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Helgi.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Helgi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hoffman's calf.
Helgi feints and then cracks Hoffman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hoffman down.
Helgi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Helgi tries a head kick but it misses.
Hoffman throws a leg kick that misses.
Bjorn Helgi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Helgi takes a swing at Hoffman's ribcage but misses.
Hoffman walks into a jab.
Hoffman throws a body punch but Helgi moves out of range.
Helgi looks to land a body kick but Hoffman moved away.
Hoffman misses with a body kick.
Hoffman swings away with a body shot that misses
and Helgi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hoffman thinking.
A swing and a miss from Helgi.
A head kick misses from Helgi.
Helgi jabs Hoffman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Helgi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Helgi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Helgi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hoffman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Helgi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Helgi is rocked!
Helgi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoffman moves away.
Hoffman throws out a counter right but Helgi avoids it with no problem.
Oh Helgi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Helgi walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Helgi limp body while Hoffman jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Hoffman!
