The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Darren. Goodman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Goodman is looking to clinch but Darren is avoiding it.
Goodman checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Goodman gets a double leg takedown into Darren's guard.

Darren is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Goodman jumps guard but Darren stands there with Goodman around his waist. Goodman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Darren doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Darren misses with a punch to the body.
Darren misses with a hook to the ribs.
Goodman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Goodman has clasped his hands together around Darren's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
