Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Pintos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Toby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toby has chosen Will Smith - The Fresh Prince as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, El Pintos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, James Toby! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pintos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pintos backing away here, and Toby unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Toby moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like El Pintos has been cut. Toby misses with a double jab
and Pintos counters with a nice body shot. Toby takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Pintos takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pintos is looking to counter punch. Toby throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Toby misses with a body kick. Pintos motions for Toby to come forward. Pintos throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Pintos tries a head kick but it misses.
El Pintos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Toby avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Toby thuds his shin into the meat of Pintos's side. Pintos throws a sloppy head kick and Toby moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toby has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pintos. Toby looks for the body kick but Pintos saw that one coming. Toby blocks a jab. Toby slips a straight right by Pintos. And Toby responds with a good body kick, but Pintos manages to step out the way in time. A solid body kick from Toby. Toby ducks under a wild hook from Pintos. Toby dips to his left and cracks Pintos with an uppercut! Toby throws a wild body kick that Pintos sees coming a mile off. Pintos throws a hook but Toby blocks it. Toby closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pintos throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Toby's coach down at Zen Balance Monastery was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Toby's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Toby shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Toby looking to sit in guard and control but Pintos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toby keeping full guard, as Pintos tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pintos controlling from the top position. Toby controls Pintos momentarily but Pintos frees himself. Toby wants to sweep but no luck. Toby looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Toby working for a triangle but Pintos defends it easily.
Pintos is looking to stand up but Toby won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pintos wants to control from the top but Toby keeps moving. Toby looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Toby has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pintos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Toby. Sloppy strikes there by Pintos. Toby is trying to improve his position. Toby throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Pintos trying to control the action but Toby is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pintos just content to control the position. Pintos wants to control but Toby is keeping him busy. Toby is trying to get back to half guard. A bit of a lull in the action here. Pintos has knee on belly and moves into mount. Toby throwing hammer fists to the chest of Pintos. What's that going to do exactly? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Pintos dominated that round. The cut man is working on El Pintos's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pintos with a nice cross. Pintos lands a nice shot to the body.
Toby looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Toby ducks under a wild hook from Pintos. Toby moves out of range of the strikes. Toby thinks about the counter body kick. Pintos jabbing away but nothing is landing. Pintos lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Toby at a distance.
Pintos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A countering left hand to the body from Toby misses. Nice body punch from Pintos. Pintos thumps Toby with a low kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice shot by Pintos. Toby blocks a head kick by Pintos.
Pintos closes the distance and clinches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice left hand lands by Toby.
Pintos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pintos gets caught napping as Toby dives in and scores a takedown. Pintos manages to retain guard. Toby throws a big right hand that misses. El Pintos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Toby throws a big elbow that misses. Pintos is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Toby is looking to work some ground and pound but Pintos has wrist control. Pintos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Toby with a flurry of punches that miss. Toby loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pintos looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Toby looking to pass the guard. Toby throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pintos works some decent striking defense from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pintos is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toby is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Toby working a defensive guard here.
Pintos is stalling in the full guard. Pintos trying to control the position from guard on top but Toby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Toby manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pintos manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pintos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Toby throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pintos works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Toby won't allow Pintos to sweep him here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Toby accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Toby is in close to Pintos's body, working some short punches and elbows. Toby stops Pintos from standing up. Toby lands a couple of decent looking shots. Toby wants to control from the top but Pintos keeps moving. Toby in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Toby prevents Pintos from getting back to his feet. Pintos controls Toby momentarily but Toby frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Toby looking to pass the guard. Toby cracks Pintos with a solid left hand. Toby has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pintos is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pintos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Toby can do to turn this around?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pintos lands a jab to the nose. Pintos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Toby moves out of range as Pintos strikes. Toby takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Toby walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Pintos avoids a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Toby fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pintos avoids it really well and circles away. It looked like Pintos wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Toby scores with a jab to the head.
Pintos throws a body shot but no joy. Pintos misses with a body shot.
Toby let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Nice jab there from Pintos. El Pintos is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice shot lands for Toby. Pintos fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pintos blocking the ground and pound attempt from Toby. Toby wants to pass the guard but Pintos is defending well. Toby throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Pintos is looking to escape. The fighters are battling for position here. Pintos manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Toby keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pintos's head. Toby trying to control the position from guard on top but Pintos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pintos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Pintos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Toby with a flurry of punches that miss. Toby lands a couple of decent looking shots. Toby throws a push kick but Pintos slaps the foot to one side. Pintos tries to clinch but Toby moves out of range. Pintos moves out of range of the body kick. Pintos misses with a straight right. Toby slips a jab from Pintos. Toby throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A telegraphed right hand from Pintos misses the target. Toby steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Pintos takes a jab right on the kisser.
Toby looking to score a takedown here. Pintos is defending well but Toby drives through and ends up in Pintos's guard. Pintos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

El Pintos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Toby loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Toby lands a couple of elbows. Toby scoring with some ground and pound. Toby is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that's the end of the fight! James Toby comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pintos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
