The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ventura shoots in looking for a takedown but Lesnar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ventura's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Lesnar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ventura is pushing Lesnar's head away, looking to escape. Lesnar manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ventura has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Lesnar is looking to defend but Ventura has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lesnar! Ventura pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lesnar taps out and this one is all over!
