Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Cri Cross !
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross looking to score a takedown here. Nyberg is defending well but Cross drives through and ends up in Nyberg's guard.
Cross stops Nyberg from standing up.
Cross is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Cross engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Cross has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nyberg manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cross escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nyberg tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cross counters with a right hand to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cross drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cross engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Cross decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nyberg, up you get!
Nice combo by Nyberg! Oh, that's hurt him - Cross falls to the canvas and Nyberg follows him into side control.
Cross is rocked!
It looks like Cri Cross has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nyberg stands up.
Cross is still on wobbly legs! Can Nyberg finish him?
Nyberg tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cross blocks a head kick by Nyberg.
And Cross tries to counter it with a takedown but Nyberg pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nyberg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nyberg drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Cross 's head, knocking him out cold! Nyberg is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matti Nyberg!
Matti Nyberg was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
