Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Gustav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Carl Gustav has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris clinches up against the cage.
Harris stalling the fight.
Gustav is trying to force a seperation but Harris has the dominant position.
Gustav is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Gustav wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gustav breaks from the clinch.
Gustav fails to land with a series of punches.
A bone on bone clash there as Gustav blocks the leg kick.
Gustav closes the distance and lands a one-two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gustav blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Harris misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A frustrated look appears on Gustav's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Harris is leaning against Gustav and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A nice left hand lands by Harris.
A bit of stalling here from Harris.
Harris drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gustav gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gustav lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Harris has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Gustav is trying to break the clinch but Harris has him pressed against the cage.

Harris throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gustavs head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gustav throws a right hand that Harris ducks under and follows up with a left that Harris also avoids with ease.
Harris scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Harris fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Gustav takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Harris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gustav stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gustav is breathing heavily.
Harris connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Harris comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Gustav ducks under a wild hook from Harris.
Some wild striking there from Harris.
Harris throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gustav was covering up waiting for the punch and Harris finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gustav utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris pushes down on Gustav's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Gustav wants to control but Harris is keeping busy.

That's time! Gustav's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Harris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gustav takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Harris lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Harris.
Gustav keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Carl Gustav is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alonzo Harris seems to be getting the better of the standup.

No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Harris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Gustav doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Harris has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Gustav misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Harris throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gustav on the side of the head.

Harris stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Gustav is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harris throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gustav manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Harris misses with a two punch combination.

Harris connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gustav momentarily.
Oh Gustav is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gustav is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Harris doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Gustav crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Gustav's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alonzo Harris!
Alonzo Harris tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
