Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Vandecaveye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sanders's choice of entrance music: LL Cool J. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Sanders! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandecaveye fails in his attempt to clinch. Sanders stuffs the takedown. Vandecaveye tries to clinch but Sanders is having none of it. Sanders misses with a takedown attempt and Vandecaveye counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sanders! Vandecaveye content just to control the position here. Vandecaveye prevents Sanders from getting the reversal. Vandecaveye content just to control the position here. Sanders is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Vandecaveye content just to control the position here. Sanders wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Vandecaveye.
Sanders prevents Vandecaveye from taking his back. Sanders is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sanders is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Vandecaveye stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Vandecaveye tries to clinch there but Sanders circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Vandecaveye misses. Sanders fails in his attempt to clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vandecaveye. Sanders shoots in for a takedown but Vandecaveye shows good takedown defense. Sanders shoots in and drives through. Vandecaveye sprawls well. Jeffrey Vandecaveye has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Earl Sanders. Vandecaveye with a lazy takedown attempt and Sanders counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vandecaveye's knee momentarily. Vandecaveye is breathing heavily. Vandecaveye doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sanders counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sanders. Sanders stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vandecaveye swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sanders drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sanders jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vandecaveye is looking to stand up but Sanders isn't so interested in that idea. Vandecaveye working a defensive guard here.
Sanders passes into half guard. Sanders in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Vandecaveye tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sanders!
