Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rory MacAskill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Botond Robert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rory MacAskill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Botond Robert! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robert misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from MacAskill.
Robert throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Robert swings for the body but MacAskill moves out of range.
MacAskill swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. MacAskill jabs Robert to the body, keeping him at a distance. MacAskill lands with a nice body punch. MacAskill takes a swing at Robert's ribcage but misses. MacAskill looks to land a body kick but Robert moved away. MacAskill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robert.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MacAskill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. MacAskill is looking to wear down Robert with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. MacAskill connects with a crisp jab. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Robert has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Robert misses with a body shot.
Robert fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. MacAskill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robert.

Robert takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. MacAskill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robert.

Robert lands with a shot to the body. Robert chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before MacAskill can pounce on him.
Robert thuds a left hand into MacAskill's body. Robert on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. MacAskill lands a slapping body shot.
Robert misses with a jab to the body
and MacAskill counters with a slapping leg kick. MacAskill looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Robert looks winded! MacAskill scores with a body shot.
A lazy left from MacAskill finds it's target. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Robert moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. MacAskill misses with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A cross from MacAskill lands. MacAskill throws a nice outside leg kick. Robert takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. MacAskill lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice shot lands for MacAskill. MacAskill digs a good body shot into Robert's ribs. MacAskill bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Robert's head backwards.
Robert is rocked! MacAskill drops Robert with a naaaaasty hook - Robert is in real trouble here! MacAskill dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rory MacAskill! An out of breath Rory MacAskill thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
