Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Frye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen I Know What Boys Like as his entrance music. Jacob Frye has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frye scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jackson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jackson in particular looking to stall. Jackson seems to be working for a kimura but Frye defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frye wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson is taking a breather. Frye says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jackson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Frye is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Roger Jackson!
