Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iko Ruhian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruhian comes to the ring accompanied by Kendang Pencak. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Scott Jordan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruhian throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jordan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jordan pushes Ruhian up against the ropes in a clinch.
Jordan is working Ruhian over against the ropes.
Ruhian's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jordan moves into range and clinches up with Ruhian.
Ruhian pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jordan clinches up with Ruhian and pushes him back against the ropes.
Jordan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ruhian backwards.
Jordan lands with a left to the head.

Jordan's coach down at Bonsai Club MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jordan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Jordan swings wildly with an uppercut but Ruhian uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ruhian escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jordan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Jordan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Ruhian scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Scott Jordan has been cut.

Jordan rushes Ruhian and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Jordan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A short body shot lands from Jordan as the two fighters clinch.
Ruhian breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oh Ruhian is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jordan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Jordan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jordan dips a shoulder and cracks Ruhian with a mighty uppercut! Ruhian falls back against the ropes and Jordan unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ruhian is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jordan screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Jordan!
