Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cartmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for John Rambo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Cartmen!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartmen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cartmen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rambo is fending him off so far but Cartmen persists. Nope, Rambo circles away and we're back to standing.
Cartmen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rambo looking for a sweep but Cartmen has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Cartmen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Rambo to take his back!
Cartmen looking to break Rambo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Rambo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Cartmen will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Cartmen has his opponent's back but Rambo is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Cartmen.
Rambo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Cartmen shoots in for a takedown but Rambo shows good takedown defense.
John Rambo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Cartmen.
Rambo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Cartmen throws out a loose jab but Rambo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cartmen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cartmen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rambo turns into him and now he's in Cartmen's guard.

Rambo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rambo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cartmen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rambo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rambo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cartmen's guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rambo.

Rambo doesn't manage to clinch there - Cartmen circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rambo looks for a takedown but Cartmen sprawls well.
Cartmen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Rambo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rambo is looking to clinch.
Rambo looks to land a combination but Cartmen avoids it well.
Eric Cartmen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rambo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
An inside leg kick lands from Rambo.
Rambo closes the distance and clinches up with Cartmen, looking for a takedown. Rambo pushes Cartmen against the cage but Cartmen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cartmen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rambo swivels and escapes.

and Rambo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cartmen won't be happy with that.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rambo closes the distance and clinches up with Cartmen, looking for a takedown. Rambo pushes Cartmen against the cage but Cartmen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cartmen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rambo sprawls well initially but Cartmen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rambo wants to control but Cartmen is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Cartmen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rambo's guard.
Cartmen tries to free his leg and advance position but Rambo is retaining full guard.
Cartmen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rambo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cartmen, into his guard.
Cartmen is looking for a triangle but Rambo pushes his legs off easily.
Cartmen wants to improve his position but instead Rambo has moved into half guard.
Rambo stands up and beckons Cartmen to join him on the feet.
Rambo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cartmen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Eric Cartmen will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Cartmen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rambo tries to avoid it but Cartmen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rambo to the ground. Rambo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Rambo counters with a thumping low kick.
John Rambo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rambo lands with a kick to the temple. Cartmen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Cartmen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Cartmen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Cartmen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rambo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rambo has escaped and now he's on top!
Rambo stands up over Cartmen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Rambo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cartmen is proving hard to escape from.
Cartmen has his foot on Rambo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rambo works his way back into a safe position though.

Rambo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rambo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rambo is looking to work some ground and pound but Cartmen has wrist control.

Cartmen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rambo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cartmen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rambo's back instead.

Rambo turns into Cartmen and is now in his guard.
Cartmen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rambo wants to control from the top but Cartmen keeps moving.

Rambo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Rambo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Rambo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cartmen has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rambo is looking to defend but Cartmen has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rambo! Cartmen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rambo taps out and this one is all over!
