The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahill darts in and clinches Adepeju up against the cage.
Adepeju manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Adepeju could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cahill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cahill fails with a takedown attempt.
Cahill circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cahill decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Adepeju's guard.
Cahill is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Adepeju knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cahill on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adepeju is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As Adepeju backs off Cahill throws a huge counter combo but Adepeju manages to avoid it all.
Adepeju gets tackled into the cage by Cahill. Cahill maintains the clinch.
Adepeju fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cahill prevents a body shot from Adepeju.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Cahill has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Adepeju uses from the top position.
