Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bad Sam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong comes to the cage accompanied by Death Angel - Falling Asleep. Bad Sam has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jason Chong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Chong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bad Sam! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chong as he avoids it easily. Chong moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Chong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sam. No joy there for Chong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chong pinned against the cage. Chong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sam. Jason Chong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bad Sam. Chong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sam paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chong throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sam shoots in and bounces Chong off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chong keeping moving, preventing Sam from controlling successfully. Sam looks gassed! Sam is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chong swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sam drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chong manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sam has Chong in his guard. Sam is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sam throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Sam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Chong has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Chong wants to stand but Sam has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sam has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chong is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sam. Sam looks to move to half guard but instead Chong has passed into mount! Damn! Sam sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sam gets full guard. Sam has a closed guard, preventing Chong from standing up. Sam wants to control but Chong passes easily into half guard.
Sam slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sam is pulling down on Chong's head. It's preventing any offense from Chong, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Chong dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Jason Chong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bad Sam. Chong throws a series of strikes that have Sam backpedaling.
Chong misses with a series of wild punches.
Chong is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Good standup being displayed there by Chong as he connects with a hook. Chong lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sam's sensitive parts. Sam is breathing heavily. Sam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chong as he jumps to the side. Chong moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sam takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sam looks for a takedown but Chong sprawls well. Chong throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Sam colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Chong as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Sam is left battered and dazed whilst Chong and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Chong!
