The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt tries to clinch but Truck moves out of range.
Schmidt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And Truck tries to counter it with a takedown but Schmidt pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Truck cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Truck is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Schmidt to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Schmidt shrugs it off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
