Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

30 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Ring! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers avoids a kick to the body.
Rogers is looking to counter the offense by Ring and move into the clinch. Ring uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rogers.
We've been hearing reports that Rogers has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ring thuds his shin into the meat of Rogers's side. Ring lands with an uppercut that bounces Rogers off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Ian Rogers has been cut. Ring rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rogers counters by clinching up. Rogers looks to throw an elbow but misses. Ring throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Rogers wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ring has him pressed against the cage. Ring throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rogers blocks it with crossed arms. Rogers misses with a knee to the head. Ring tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rogers lands a knee to the head.

Ring is trying to maintain a safe position but Rogers gets an underhook and turns Ring into the cage. Ring creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Ring tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Rogers pushes off an throws an elbow but Ring leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Ring working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ring prevents Rogers from breaking the clinch. Rogers is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogers gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ring on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

A close round but Jeremy Ring will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ian Rogers's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ring throws a nice looking combination but Rogers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ring lands a big head kick that sends Rogers tumbling to the mat! Ring takes a step backwards and waves Rogers back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rogers is rocked! Ring cracks Rogers with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rogers tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ring pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rogers is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
