Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Sears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwin Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sears misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sears keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sears swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Alvarez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Alvarez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sears manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alvarez has Sears in his guard.
Sears controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sears defends well.
Sears looking to sit in guard and control but Alvarez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Alvarez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Alvarez dives in and grabs Sears's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sears pushes down on Alvarez's head and hops out.

As Sears backs off Alvarez throws a huge counter combo but Sears manages to avoid it all.
