The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov takes a swing at Kullervo's ribcage but misses.
Volkov throws the kick towards the body but Kullervo avoids it.
Kullervo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A left lands for Kullervo.
A slapping leg kick lands for Volkov.
A head kick by Kullervo misses
and Volkov counters with a body kick.
Kullervo connects with a looping right hand.
Nice defenses there by Kullervo.
Kullervo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kullervo lands a head kick. Volkov smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Volkov slips a jab from Kullervo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Volkov scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Evil Kullervo has been cut.
Kullervo misses with a hook
and Volkov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Volkov swings away with a leg kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kullervo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Volkov throws a shot from downtown. Kullervo moves away and avoids it.
Kullervo throws a head kick but Volkov moves out of range.
Kullervo tries to close the distance and clinch but Volkov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kullervo walks into a left hand.

Kullervo walks into a left hand.
Volkov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kullervo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kullervo scores with a decent looking hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A head kick by Volkov - that's a beauty! Kullervo is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Volkov can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
