Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wesley Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Balboa! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa scoring well with a low kick there.
Allen tries to clinch up but Balboa circles away and keeps his distance. That kick from Balboa tenderised Allen's leg. Allen is trying to keep his angry face on. Allen blocks a low kick nicely. Conan Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. An inside leg kick lands from Balboa. Balboa lands with a thumping leg kick.

Allen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Balboa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Allen fails in his attempt to clinch. Balboa misses with a low kick. Balboa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Balboa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Balboa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Allen's sensitive parts. Balboa darts in trying to clinch and Allen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Balboa! Allen stands up and beckons Balboa to his feet. Allen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Balboa sprawls well initially but Allen persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen is taking a breather. Balboa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Allen stops Balboa from getting back to his feet.

Conan Balboa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Wesley Allen's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Balboa. Allen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Balboa has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

This has been an exciting period of action! Allen stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Allen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Allen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Allen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Balboa, pushing him back against the cage. Allen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Allen breaks from the clinch.
Good shot there by Balboa. Allen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Allen uses his free foot to push down on Balboa's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Balboa.

Wesley Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee warns Balboa that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
