Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Pokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobby Pokka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mick Carter! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter has Pokka up against the cage in a clinch.
Carter misses with an elbow over the top. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Pokka working hard to break the clinch. Pokka pulls guard. Pokka keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully. Pokka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carter. Carter throwing strikes from guard but Pokka blocks nicely. Carter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Carter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter landing with the ground and pound. Carter is pushing down on Pokka's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pokka is fighting to maintain full guard but Carter has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pokka tries to get to full guard but Carter has control of the leg. Pokka has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Carter is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pokka! Carter avoids the attempt from Pokka to control. Pokka sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Carter seems to be working for a kimura but Pokka defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter content to control rather than advance. Carter missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pokka keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Carter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pokka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Carter trying to pass the guard but Pokka defending well. Carter trying to control from half guard but Pokka is working away. Carter is thwarting Pokka's attempts to control the position. Carter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Carter is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Pokka blocking the ground and pound attempt from Carter. Pokka manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Pokka keeping moving, preventing Carter from controlling successfully. Pokka has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Carter off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Carter tries to clinch but Pokka is having none of it. Carter gets a takedown into half guard. Pokka scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Carter manages to mount him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter trying to control but Pokka is having none of it. Pokka has given up his back. Will we see Carter going for some submissions?
Carter punches the canvas rather than the man. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carter tries to keep control of the position but Pokka is staying busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pokka covering up well and avoiding damage. Carter is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Pokka knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Pokka for a finish. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Carter dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pokka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Carter tries to keep at a distance but Pokka has taken the fight into the clinch. Carter looking to slow down the pace here. Carter manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Pokka wants to pass the guard but Carter is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pokka won't allow Carter to sweep him here. Carter wants to hit a switch here but Pokka passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Carter there! Pokka unloads with some shots from mount but Carter bucks and avoids them well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pokka thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Pokka looking to control and managing it successfully. Carter wants to control but Pokka is having none of it. Mick Carter has got the better of the ground game so far. Carter avoids a strike by Pokka and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Pokka's guard! Fantastic escape!
Carter looking to sit in guard and control but Pokka gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pokka advances position into side control! You can see the frustration on Carter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pokka slows the pace down. Carter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Carter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pokka's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Carter trying to control but Pokka postures up.
Carter tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pokka has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Carter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Carter looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Carter punching from the bottom.
Carter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pokka pulls his head out easily. Carter trying to hold on to Pokka's head to control him but Pokka postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pokka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground. Pokka controlling the action here. Pokka is looking for a kimura here.
Carter throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Bobby Pokka dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Pokka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pokka clinches. Pokka leaning his opponent against the cage. Pokka takes an elbow to the temple. Pokka gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pokka trying to stand up but can't free himself from Carter's guard. Carter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pokka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Carter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pokka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pokka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Carter trying to keep a closed guard but Pokka is proving a slippery customer.
Pokka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Carter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pokka's guard. Carter passes easily into side control. Nice work. Carter lands some shots froms side control. Carter tries to advance to mount but Pokka denies him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Carter wants to control but Pokka is keeping him busy. The strikes coming from Carter are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Pokka is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Pokka managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Carter.
Pokka tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pokka defending against the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter in side control, throwing shots but Pokka defends. Pokka tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pokka is working hard here to advance position. Carter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pokka keeps working. Carter might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pokka haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Carter passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Pokka! Carter looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Carter looking to finish with strikes here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pokka defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Carter. Carter tries to control but Pokka wriggling away. Carter is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pokka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Carter throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Pokka because Carter loaded up on that one. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Carter tries to control but Pokka wriggling away.
And that's the end of the fight! Mick Carter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Carter has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
