Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Sicko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by "Thunderstruck" -AC/DC. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Victor Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sid Sicko! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sicko throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Steel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sicko napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sicko takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Steel lands some shots froms side control. Steel tries to advance to mount but Sicko denies him. Steel moves into full mount! Steel has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Sicko bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sicko wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steel looking for subs off his back but Sicko has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sicko trying to control the action but Steel is working from the bottom. Sicko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Steel has managed to free his arm - good work. Steel is staying active underneath Sicko, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sicko wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Steel moves into full guard.
Sicko wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving. Sicko looking to sit in guard and control but Steel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Steel postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Steel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Steel scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Steel working some strikes from top position. Sicko has momentary wrist control but Steel slips an elbow through the middle. Steel sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sicko trying to control the position.

Steel walks into a straight right hand from Sicko. Sicko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sicko dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Steel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sicko was covering up waiting for the punch and Steel finishes the takedown easily into guard. Steel passes Sicko's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Steel takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Sicko wants to control but Steel is keeping busy.
Sicko is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steel slows the pace down in half guard. Steel working the head and body with strikes.

Sicko on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Steel landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Steel slips a nice elbow through Sicko's hands, connecting with Sicko's forehead. Nice strikes from Steel there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sicko regains full guard. Nicely done. Sicko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Steel slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sicko won't allow Steel to sweep him here.

Victor Steel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Steel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sicko manages to get himself to full guard.

Sicko is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Steel stays in close to Sicko's body and controls the position.

Steel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Steel seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sicko for as long as he can get away with. Steel continues to stall.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Steel manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sicko on his heels. He'll look to pass Sicko's guard now, I'm sure. Steel makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Victor Steel dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Sicko feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Steels jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A big right from Steel misses. Sicko jabs Steel right on the nose. Steel blinks but takes it well. Steel scores with a takedown into Sicko's guard. Steel scoring with some ground and pound. Steel cracks Sicko with a solid left hand. Steel postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Steel is in close to Sicko's body, working some short punches and elbows. Steel landing with the ground and pound. Steel's corner is telling him to maintain position. More hug and hope from Steel.
That's one minute gone in the round. This is a sustained period of stalling by Steel. Sicko working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Steel is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Steel postures up and lands a big shot to Sicko's brow. Steel wants to pass the guard but Sicko is keeping the position. Steel controls from within his opponent's guard. Steel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sicko has momentary wrist control but Steel slips an elbow through the middle. Victor Steel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sicko seems a little lost for a moment, as Steel dominates the positioning. Steel landing strikes. Steel has an Americana. Sicko didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Steel is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Steel hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
