Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neymar Junior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Kingston! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kingston circles away quickly and effectively. Junior takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kingston moves in looking to clinch but Junior pushes him off. Kingston moves away from the strike by Junior. Kingston has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Junior is landing a low percentage of strikes. Kingston misses with a series of wild punches.
Junior is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Junior avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kingston looks to land a combination but Junior avoids it well. Kingston throws a right and a left that both miss. Kingston scores with the left hand. Junior knows he should have avoided that one. Kingston works over Junior's head and body with a nice combination. Kingston throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Junior swinging wildly here.
This has been an exciting period of action! Junior throws a series of punches but Kingston avoids them all with ease. The crowd cheers as Kingston lands an impressive looking overhand right. Junior doesn't seem phased though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior lands with a kick to the temple. Kingston shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Junior misses with a body shot.

Junior swats away the attempt to clinch by Kingston. Kingston throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fight stays on the outside here - Junior looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kingston unleashes a big counter combination but Junior bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Kingston swinging wildly here.
Kingston is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kingston has Junior up against the ropes in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Junior tries to work over Kingston's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kingston blocking some punches.

A nice right hand lands inside from Junior. Junior tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Junior goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kingston breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kingston jabs Junior right on the nose. Junior blinks but takes it well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Junior takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Some wild striking there from Kingston.
It looked like Junior was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kingston misses with an uppercut. It appears Junior was looking to counter with a kick there. Junior is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Kingston swinging wildly here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Junior tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kingston was well out of range. Poor timing from Junior. Kingston lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kingston. The fight stays on the outside here - Kingston looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Junior scores with a jab to the jaw. Kingston lands a really nice looking cross but Junior seems unphased.

Junior sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Junior is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kingston lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kingston. Kingston shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Junior eats them both and turns towards Kingston to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Kingston tries to clinch there but Junior circles away.
It looked like Junior was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kingston.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kingston tries to clinch but Junior moves away and Junior counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kingston misses with a combination
enabling Junior to counter with a crisp jab. Junior throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kingston swinging wildly here.
Kingston blocks a jab. Junior loads up on a big right hand but Kingston slips the punch. Kingston tries to clinch and Junior counters with a right hand to the body. Kingston lands a two punch combo.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kingston rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Junior moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Junior slips a jab and a cross from Kingston.
Junior moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Junior with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Kingston dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kingston keeps the fight on the outside. It seemed like Kingston was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Junior ducks under a wild hook from Kingston. Junior lands a lovely overhand right. Junior connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kingston. Kingston circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kingston misses with a combination
and Junior counters with a one-two to the body.
Kingston is rocked! Junior fails to land with a series of punches.
Kingston is still on wobbly legs! Can Junior finish him? Junior misses with the combination.
Junior cracks Kingston on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Kingston falls backwards against the ropes. Junior follows up with more strikes that drop Kingston to his knees. Junior keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Kingston! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neymar Junior!
