The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Tanaka. Those never looked like landing.
Odds seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Tanaka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown attempt by Tanaka or perhaps it was just good defense by Odds, which made it look bad.
Odds fails in his attempt to clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Tanaka counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Tanaka goes for a takedown attempt but Odds pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Odds is looking to reverse the position.
