The Grinder comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drake - Energy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The Grinder closes the distance and clinches.
Kantola keeps control of The Grinder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

It looks like Bret The Grinder has been cut.
The Grinder is trying to break free.

Kantola has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and The Grinder goes down! Kantola pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!
Bret The Grinder's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bret The Grinder's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ari Kantola!
Ari Kantola decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Bret The Grinder was interviewed post fight and said 'Back to MMA for now then I guess'.
