Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cletus Strickland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Moussa Seck!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seck shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Strickland defends it nicely.

Strickland tries to keep at a distance but Seck has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Seck moves into the clinch.

Seck has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Strickland has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Seck shoots in looking for a takedown. Strickland tries to sprawl out of it but Seck keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Strickland manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Strickland jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seck walks away with a smile on his face. Strickland gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Strickland tries to pull guard but Seck holds him up against the cage and eventually Strickland drops back down to his feet.

Seck has clasped his hands together around Strickland's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Strickland bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Strickland is looking to counter the offense by Seck and move into the clinch.

Strickland bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Strickland knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seck on the ground.

Well Seck has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
