Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slovenija misses with a takedown
and Drogba counters with a nice body shot.
Drogba changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Slovenija fails with an attempt to clinch.
Drogba is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Drogba stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Slovenija has his takedown stuffed
and Drogba counters with a straight right hand.
Slovenija moves in looking to clinch but Drogba pushes him off.
A jab from Drogba finds it's way through Slovenija's defenses.
Drogba bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Slovenija's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Drogba lands a big uppercut and Slovenija crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Slovenija looks OK. Drogba waves Slovenija back to his feet!
Slovenija is rocked!
Slovenija walks straight into a right hand from Drogba - that's dropped him! Drogba jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Slovenija from any more punishment! Slovenija complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Didier Drogba!
