Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kalibov Tigger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamie Hill!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tigger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hill has a takedown stuffed.
A low kick from Tigger is predictable there
and Hill counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tigger wriggles free and stands up.
Hill rushes Tigger and presses him up against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Tigger as Hill tries to tie him up.
Tigger wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hill tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tigger gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hill.
Kalibov Tigger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Hill.
Hill slows down the pace here.
Hill goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tigger prevents it.
Hill is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tigger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kalibov Tigger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tigger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tigger misses with a body kick.
Hill doesn't manage to clinch there - Tigger circles away.
Tigger thinks about countering with a head kick.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tigger paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hill moves in looking to clinch but Tigger pushes him off.
Tigger throws a counter high kick but Hill was just alert enough to avoid it.
Hill shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tigger as he jumps to the side.
Hill tries to clinch but Tigger moves away
and as Hill loses concentration momentarily, Tigger counters with a picture perfect head kick! Hill goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kalibov Tigger!
