Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eliseo Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan misses with a hook.
We've been hearing reports that Jackson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Duncan misses with a series of wild punches.
Duncan tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jackson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duncan has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duncan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Duncan is rocked!
Duncan is desperately trying to improve his position but Jackson has a good base and remains in mount.
Duncan is still in real trouble! Can Jackson finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Jackson! Duncan is hurt baaadly! Jackson is firing away with more strikes - Duncan is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
