Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricard Cuenca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humphrey Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cuenca comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac - Troublesome '96. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Baker throws a right hand that misses
and Cuenca connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Baker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Baker throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Baker moves out of range of the strikes.
Baker misses the jab.
Cuenca takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Baker dips to his left and cracks Cuenca with an uppercut!
Cuenca wants to clinch up but Baker keeps it at a distance.

We've been informed that Baker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Baker tries to bum rush Cuenca with a series of wild strikes but Cuenca uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cuenca throws a counter high kick but Baker was just alert enough to avoid it.

Baker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cuenca feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Baker sprawling to the canvas! Baker rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cuenca finish him?!

Baker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cuenca stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cuenca walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Baker lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

A very excited looking Ricard Cuenca made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Humphrey Baker was interviewed post fight and said 'If I cant kick ur ass...my momma can !'.
