Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasya Pupkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mr Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vasya Pupkin!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blood gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pupkin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Pupkin lands a couple of elbows.

Pupkin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Blood is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Blood has escaped and now he's on top!

Blood definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pupkin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Blood controls the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pupkin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Blood closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pupkin quickly recovers to half guard.

Pupkin feints and as Blood raises his hands in defense, Pupkin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Blood stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pupkin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Blood has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
