Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artur Levchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Argivas Kerenzikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Levchenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Zelenoglazoe Taksi. Artur Levchenko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Argivas Kerenzikov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Argivas Kerenzikov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kerenzikov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Levchenko!
Levchenko wants to control but Kerenzikov postures up.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Levchenko is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kerenzikov connects with a decent elbow.
Check out the look on Kerenzikov's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerenzikov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Levchenko manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kerenzikov's best efforts.

Kerenzikov postures up in Levchenko's guard and throws a big left but Levchenko blocks it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Levchenko's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kerenzikov manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Kerenzikov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Levchenko is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kerenzikov swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Kerenzikov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Levchenko lands a leg kick that knocks Kerenzikov off balance momentarily.
Kerenzikov misses with a takedown
and Levchenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kerenzikov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Levchenko under the eye.

Levchenko tries to keep at a distance but Kerenzikov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kerenzikov goes for a takedown attempt but Levchenko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kerenzikov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Levchenko defends well and Kerenzikov ends up having to push Levchenko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Levchenko throws a big counter combination but Kerenzikov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Artur Levchenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Argivas Kerenzikov.
Levchenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Levchenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Kerenzikov. Kerenzikov gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Levchenko throws the left hand but Kerenzikov avoids the punch easily.
Kerenzikov ducks right into an uppercut from Levchenko.

and Levchenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kerenzikov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Levchenko.
Levchenko looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Argivas Kerenzikov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Levchenko, right into the meat.
Levchenko misses the shot to the body.
Kerenzikov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Levchenko lands a big right hand that sends Kerenzikov crashing to the mat! Levchenko stays standing though and waves Kerenzikov back to his feet!


Kerenzikov is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Levchenko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kerenzikov is still on wobbly legs! Can Levchenko finish him?
Kerenzikov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Levchenko moves away.
Levchenko seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Kerenzikov fails with the takedown
and Levchenko counters with a big left hand that crumples Kerenzikov! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Artur Levchenko!
During a confident post fight interview, Artur Levchenko thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
