The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scorpion just misses with a punch to the body.
WeBL slips a straight right by Scorpion.
A counter left hand to the body from WeBL misses its target.
Scorpion pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Scorpion drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Ruler Scorpion has been cut.
WeBL clinches.
WeBL creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Scorpion looking to stall.
WeBL lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Scorpion blocks a body shot from WeBL.
WeBL gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
WeBL is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
WeBL throws an elbow but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
WeBL softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.

Scorpion swings wildly with an uppercut but WeBL uses good head movement to avoid it.
Scorpion misses with a short punch on the inside.

WeBL struggles to land a body shot inside as Scorpion controls his hands.
WeBL blocks a body shot from Scorpion.
WeBL misses with a punch to the body.
WeBL comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
WeBL lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
WeBL tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
WeBL gets through Scorpion's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Scorpion lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of WeBL backwards.
WeBL tries to stall but Scorpion uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
WeBL lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Scorpion throws a punch but it's blocked by WeBL.
Scorpion goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
WeBL misses with a hook from the clinch.
WeBL lands a damaging elbow.
WeBL comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Scorpion is rocked!
That has opened up Ruler Scorpion's cut even more.
WeBL lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Scorpion to his knees! WeBL keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr WeBL!
Mr WeBL looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Hey champ, how about you bring that pretty little face and that pretty little belt to me and I'll take them both from you... *drops mic*'.
