Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sol Dier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rage Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sol Dier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rage Machine! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Dier throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Machine ducks under a wild hook from Dier. Machine keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A jab from Dier misses. Good exchange - Dier coming out on top. Dier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Machine sees it coming and avoids it easily. Dier looks to land a left hand but Machine moved out of range nicely. Machine manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dier on his heels. He'll look to pass Dier's guard now, I'm sure. Machine landing some decent shots from guard. Dier is looking to sweep but instead, Machine has passed into half guard.
Machine controlling the action here. Machine has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine prevents Dier from improving his position. Dier looks like he's trying to stand up.
Machine is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Let's hope that Machine has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dier is trying to stand up here but Machine is controlling him well. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Machine is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dier is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rage Machine!
