Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Heleko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Nunes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manny Heleko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Diego Nunes! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nunes throws a right and a left that both miss. Heleko shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nunes avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Heleko throws a series of punches but Nunes avoids them all with ease. Heleko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Heleko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nunes pulls him back up using the underhooks. Heleko tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A short left from Nunes.
It looks like Manny Heleko has been cut. Heleko goes for a takedown attempt but Nunes pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Heleko seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Heleko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nunes thuds his right hand into Heleko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heleko moves into the clinch. Nunes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Heleko throws a body punch but Nunes moves out of range. Nunes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Heleko tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heleko is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Nunes biding his time, looking for the opening.
Nunes looking for the choke but no joy. Heleko manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from Heleko. Nunes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heleko is looking to stand back up but Nunes counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Heleko. Heleko is trying to escape back to his feet but Nunes uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Heleko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Heleko tries to get out of the position. Heleko gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Heleko is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Nunes content just to control the position here. Nunes postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Heleko looks a forlorn figure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Heleko is bucking up trying to escape but Nunes cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Manny Heleko's cut is getting worse.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nunes has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Heleko's face.
Nunes controlling from mount. Nunes landing punches. Nunes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Manny Heleko's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Manny Heleko's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Diego Nunes! A determined Diego Nunes didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
