Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Ballard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Bello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bello has chosen Ghetto Gospels as his entrance music. Abraham Ballard is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abraham Ballard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jorge Bello! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ballard moves in looking to clinch but Bello pushes him off. Ballard is looking to clinch. Bello looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ballard is defending against the submission attempts here by Bello.
Bello looks winded! Ballard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bello is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ballard is pressing down on Bello's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bello is looking to stand up but Ballard won't let him. Bello is stalling in the full guard. Bello has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ballard is proving hard to escape from. Bello won't allow Ballard to sweep him here. Bello got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ballard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bello has managed to get both his arms back between Ballard's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bello trying to control but Ballard is working from the bottom. Ballard is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bello trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ballard is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Ballard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bello doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bello manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bello sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ballard is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bello controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bello wants to pass the guard but Ballard is keeping the position. Ballard trying to control the position here. Ballard continues to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jorge Bello seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bello throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bello closes the distance and pushes Ballard back into the cage. Bello manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ballard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ballard working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bello is working an open guard so Ballard takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bello moves into range and clinches up with Ballard. Ballard misses with a body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jorge Bello will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bello rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ballard moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bello keeps the fight on the outside. Ballard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ballard moves in looking to clinch but Bello pushes him off. Bello manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ballard on his heels. He'll look to pass Ballard's guard now, I'm sure. Ballard wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ballard working a defensive guard here.
Ballard keeping moving, preventing Bello from controlling successfully. Bello is breathing heavily. Ballard looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bello wants to pass the guard but Ballard is keeping the position. Ballard being controlled here, momentarily. Ballard pulls Bello in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ballard wants to clinch up but Bello keeps it at a distance. Bello looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bello keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bello is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Bello pushes Ballard up against the cage in a clinch. Bello blocks a body shot from Ballard. Bello has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ballard is trying to keep an underhook but Bello manages to get the takedown into half guard. Ballard looking for submissions off his back.

Ballard has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ballard keeping moving, preventing Bello from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ballard is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bello looking to sit in guard and control but Ballard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ballard throws a big elbow that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ballard postures up in Bello's guard and throws a big left but Bello blocks it. Ballard throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jorge Bello showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Ballard closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bello's guard. Bello wants to get back to his feet but Ballard is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bello avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ballard is in close to Bello's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bello takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bello wants to stand but Ballard is controlling the position. Ballard working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bello utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ballard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bello works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ballard throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ballard feints and as Bello raises his hands in defense, Ballard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bello preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ballard postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bello is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ballard dives into side control.
Ballard wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bello, who protects the arm well. Ballard lands a nice forearm strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ballard misses with the ground and pound. Ballard working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Ballard decides to stand back up. Ballard clinches up with Bello and pushes him back against the cage. Ballard blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ballard is trying to pull guard but Bello turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bello is trying to trip Ballard. He has hold of a leg but Ballard is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bello persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Bello trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bello looking to sit in guard and control but Ballard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ballard chips away with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bello utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ballard stops Bello from standing up. Jorge Bello is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Ballard throwing strikes from guard but Bello blocks nicely. Bello working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ballard. Abraham Ballard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ballard throwing strikes from guard but Bello blocks nicely.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jorge Bello! Jorge Bello opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
