Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julius Arquette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Eibner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julius Arquette! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brett Eibner! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eibner shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Arquette's guard. Arquette knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eibner on the ground. Eibner is pushing down on Arquette's leg trying to pass to half guard. Arquette is fighting to maintain full guard but Eibner has managed to sneak the leg through. Eibner moves nicely into side control. Eibner cracks Arquette with an elbow. That is naaassty. Arquette takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Eibner scores with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Arquette's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Eibner cracks Arquette with an elbow. That is naaassty. Eibner has knee on belly and moves into mount. Eibner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eibner raining down shots from the mount! Eibner lands with some strikes. Arquette is desperately trying to improve his position but Eibner has a good base and remains in mount. Arquette tries to hold on but Eibner pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eibner trying to control but he's not successful this time. Eibner with the ground and pound from mount.
Arquette is rocked! Eibner quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Eibner but it's paid off an Arquette is forced to tap! Nice work by Eibner.
