The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bruce shoots in looking for a takedown but Date manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bruce's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Date has managed to clinch.
Date working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Date lands a left hand.
Date lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bruce drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Date gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Date creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Bruce with a big uppercut! Bruce tries to clinch up but Date pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Bruce to the mat! Bruce covers up and Date unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
