The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pace misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Pace gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and van Bommel counters with a takedown into side control.
Pace takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
