Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Greg Clegane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Donald Trump! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clegane scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Donald Trump has been cut. A jab lands there for Clegane. Trump misses with a hook
and Trump takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Trump scores with a hook. Clegane sends Trump crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Clegane is motioning to the referee to let Trump up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trump throws a head kick that misses. Trump moves into range and clinches up with Clegane. Clegane working hard to break the clinch. Trump's coach down at Barbell Brigade was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Trump's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Trump goes for a takedown in the clinch but Clegane prevents it.
Trump fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Trump misses with a punch on the inside.
Nice body punch from Trump. Trump scores with a nice hook to the head. Clegane blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clegane takes a shot to the head. Trump throws a punch but it's blocked by Clegane. Trump goes for a takedown attempt but Clegane pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Clegane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Trump throws a sloppy head kick letting Clegane counter with a right hand. Trump pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clegane is looking to counter punch. Clegane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Trump has his takedown stuffed and Clegane counters with a crisp right hand that drops Trump! Clegane lets Trump back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
That has opened up Donald Trump's cut even more. Greg Clegane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donald Trump. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trump with a poor takedown and Clegane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Trump looks winded! Clegane throws a monster overhand right that drops Trump! Clegane follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
