Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julian Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Specter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Specter has chosen Greenback Boogie as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Harvey Specter enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Julian Reis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Harvey Specter!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Specter throws a jab but it's blocked by Reis.
Reis drops down looking for a counter takedown but Specter sprawls and moves away.
Specter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harvey Specter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Specter moves into range and clinches up with Reis.

Reis is fighting off a takedown attempt but Specter is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Reis to the mat. Reis regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Specter is nestled in close to Reis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Reis tries to roll over but Specter keeps him under control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Specter is working for a kimura but Reis is defending it quite comfortably.

We've been hearing good reports from Reis's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Specter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Specter connects with a nice short shot to Reis's temple.

Specter loads up with a big shot that hurts Reis! He's pulled Specter in close but Specter has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Reis survive? More strikes from Specter and Reis is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
