The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight misses with a body shot.
Franco takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Franco takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Knight moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Knight scores with a three punch combo!
Franco clinches up with Knight and pushes him back against the cage.
Knight looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Franco pulls guard successfully.
Knight tries to stand but Franco is controlling from the bottom.
Knight decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Franco, up you get!

Franco moves out of range of the leg kick from Knight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Knight, as that shot connected.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Knight!
Knight lands a right hook to the body.
Knight throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Knight scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Franco swats away the attempt to clinch by Knight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Knight uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Franco is rocked!
Knight catches Franco with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Franco forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Patrick Knight!
Patrick Knight was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
