The crowd seem to be enjoying Durden's choice of entrance music: Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower. Cedric Daniels has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a wild body kick that Durden sees coming a mile off.
Daniels lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Durden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Durden looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Daniels manages to get to full guard.
Durden slips nicely into half guard.
Durden trying to control the action but Daniels is working from the bottom.
Daniels controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Daniels is trying to maintain the position but Durden is very close to passing his half guard.

Durden is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Daniels circles away from the clinch attempt.

Durden gets a takedown into half guard.
Durden is stalling here. Daniels is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Durden seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Daniels has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Daniels tries for a kimura but Durden is defending well.
Daniels connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Durden some visible discomfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durden is not content to let Daniels control the position.
Durden manages to work his way to half guard, despite Daniels's best efforts.

The fighters are battling for position here. Durden manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Durden wants to get back to his feet but Daniels is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Durden bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Daniels's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durden trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Durden is pushing down on Daniels's leg trying to pass to half guard. Daniels is fighting to maintain full guard but Durden has managed to sneak the leg through.

Daniels looking for submissions off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Daniels trying to hold on to Durden's head to control him but Durden postures up.
Durden frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Daniels is controlling an arm, preventing Durden from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Durden is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Durden swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Daniels is now in Durden's guard. A big mistake from Durden there, giving up the dominant position!
Durden looks gassed!
Daniels in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Durden dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Durden throws a jab when Daniels was well out of range.
A slow jab from Daniels misses its intended target.
Durden misses with a takedown attempt - Daniels sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cedric Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daniels scores with a hook to the body. Durden takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Durden takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Daniels lands a with a good body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Daniels, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daniels paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Durden takes one to the side of the head.
Daniels cracks Durden with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Daniels has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Durden to stand back up!


Durden is rocked!
Durden is breathing heavily.
Daniels throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Durden stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Durden is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him?
Daniels fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Durden to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Durden looks to clinch but Daniels throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Durden taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Cedric Daniels!
