Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bastad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benedikt Iskandar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iskandar keeps the fight on the outside.
Iskandar connects with a crisp jab.
Iskandar misses with a body shot.
Bastad looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bastad tries for a takedown but Iskandar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Iskandar changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
No luck for Bastad with that takedown attempt.
Iskandar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bastad fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Bastad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bastad tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Iskandar defends well and Bastad ends up having to push Iskandar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bastad shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Iskandar as he avoids it easily.
Bastad closes the distance and clinches up with Iskandar, looking for a takedown. Bastad pushes Iskandar against the cage but Iskandar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Iskandar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Iskandar stalks Bastad and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bastad's face. Bastad staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bastad takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Bastad is looking to clinch but Iskandar is avoiding it.
Benedikt Iskandar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Iskandar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Iskandar drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bastad defends it well.
Bastad changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Iskandar tries to avoid it but Bastad manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Iskandar to the ground. Iskandar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Iskandar is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
